Music of the Times

Halloween means many things for all different age groups. Now that I've gotten older and developed some of my tastes (not for candy) I've started to integrate myself with different sorts of music according to the weather.

Now, we just got a foot of snow, and usually when the weather turns colder and temperatures drop, peoples attitudes slide down, and their patience wanes. One of the main reasons I listen to more death metal and grindcore in the winter time. It just suites my mood so to speak. So tonight, being Halloween, and nearly a foot of snow on the ground, I leave you with a taste of what gets me going at the gym. No worries if you don't like it, I simply like it for the energy, the drive, and the kick ass drums that ensue along with the shredding guitar.

Back to Blogging.
I've taken a considerable amount of time off from writing willy nilly articles on the internet, and now that I've had some time to re-collect, mature, and develop some real thoughts and ideas as to what I'm actually going to be doing in life, I figured it's time I started writing again.

Senior year in college is tough, no doubt. While most are still en route to raging it out on the weekends like they've done since freshmen year, it's surely going to be a downfall as the weeks start running by and the time runs out on your , 'youth'.

So what do we do to combat this inevitable fall from the best four years of your life?

You major in some sort of specialization, which in hope, will land you a job when you get the swift kick in the butt from college. Here's your diploma, now go support the economy and don't forget to reproduce.

I'm majoring in journalism, and what made me decide to put down mt "Telling True Stories" book and assigned reading is that on page 12, one of the contributing writers wrote down that the reason 'why we as journalists like to write, is because we find some humane aspect in talking to people, and wanting to share the lessons learned.

This in turn are my exact reasons for blogging. While my un-edited sarcasm, and ruthless thoughts may sometimes run-amuck here on the itnernet, I'm simply trying to share and edit my life stories in hopes that my thoughts will provoke, alter, and temporarily allow you to see through a different window. While you may not agree, or have opposing thoughts, we as humans can't exchange information or opinions without verbally communicating, or by passing 'articles' to each other in the forms of words and other texts such as books and newspapers.

With this, I hope you can learn something from my youthful expressions and hypercharged writings.
