When you love your job the once menial tasks that you've performed at other jobs now become seamless as you now enjoy doing them.
To say the least, the current job I have is awesome. As a student aspiring to become a world traveler/adventure journalist I have a lot of things to think about. That's a bit idiotic to say, EVERY STUDENT has a lot to think about when pursuing a certain degree and especially trying to break into their career choice.
But right now, I'm working in an office at a skydive facility in very Southern Maine. And to say the least, It's gotta be one of the best keep secrets in New England. Well, it's not really a secret, its certainly open to the public, but the sheer atmosphere combined with the ecstatic personalities of everyone working there is simply the best of any job I've ever worked. Now as a 21 year old male, I don't hold much of a say in anything in this world, and I'll leave it to you and the other locals that make this dropzone the place to be.
I'd be astonished to find a better job within my area that would suit anyone my age better. Now before I go on ranting too much about how cool it is to work there, I'll bring this blog post to a closing point.
If you are one of the thousands of Americans that is working a job that you don't love, and probably hate then it's time for you to go. Bad economy or not, you've got to make yourself happy and be happy at your place of work. You should want to be there to some extent and shouldn't be itching to get out of there at 4:55 pm. Do yourself a favor and find what you like, and like what you do.
