OH COME ON! I'm almost done with college! Earlier this morning as I was brushing up on my twitter news feed, I noticed the latest thing to start trending was May 21st 2011. Naturally, with that date being less than a week away I had to check it out right?
What I came across was astounding. And much to any believers actual beliefs, I laughed quite a bit. THE END OF DAYS!! read one twitter post. 'The end is near!' read another one. Naturally I had to take my journalism skills to the next level.
I punched into google, 'May 21st 2011' and my computer was pushed to the brink of destruction with results. It almost had a near kataklysmic event itself.
This blog, which you should take the time to read, describes the prophetic version of the end of days by some wild christian fantatic. (See how I refused to capitalize christian? It's because I don't like being notified of the end of the world in under a weeks time. So inconvenient!)

The blog predicts an enormous earthquake that will bring all the believers of a true god up to heaven. Sweet? I'd rather not die in a horrific earthquake anyway, I have another year of college to finish k thanks.
Anyway, If you see something like this, you might be in trouble. As far as the rest of the people on this planet that are having a difficult time understanding how so many idiots could predict this sort of event, just know that I'm with you.
Sarcasm aside, you can count on me checking the clock and wondering when this 'holy earthquake' will hit and suck up souls to bring to heaven.
P.S. How Ironic is it that Stephen Hawking less than 24 hours ago said in an official statement that there is no god, no heaven, and we need to focus on fulfilling the quality of our lives instead of being afraid of dying. can you say #Ironic?
