You can't change the weather, so why even get upset about it?
I'm not a fan of this recent rain, I don't know if you can recall this spring (the wet season) or the harsh winter we've endured over the past two years, but I've had about enough. I can easily put up with the awful transition seasons but when it becomes summer I expect a good amount of decent weather.
Is it climate change? What's going on?
No one really knows for sure. People have always typically just said, 'Oh it's New England, it'll change in five minutes.' But it's been more than five days of gray overcast weather that has begun to shut down operations here in the North East. Realistically, the only time small businesses make money in New England seems to be the tourism season from early summer to late fall. And it's been tough. Working for a small business myself, the effects of the recently horrible weather have definitely put a damper on peoples spirits and have lightened their wallets.
What can we do about it?
Well blogging ain't gonna help much, I suppose I'll go put on my grown up pants and suck it up until the next nice day comes along. 'Till Then Folks!
